Nail Care
Simple nail care can be done at home. Although some are better to attend a Podiatrist. for example if you are a diabetic or have poor circulation etc. Also if you nails are very difficult to cut you may need to see a Podiatrist for help.
- Use a nail nipper and cut the nail straight across taking care not to cut down the sides of the nails of the nails.
- After you have cut them straight across file the edge of the nail.
- Regular filing of the length of the nail can mean you avoid having to cut your nails.
- If you have slightly ticker nails you can file the thickness of the nail slightly from the top of the nail to reduce its thickness.
- Always see a Podiatrist if you have difficulty or get problems with this.
